Institute for Social Activities Skopje
The institution was established by a Decision of the Executive Council of the Socialist Republic of Macedonia by Resolution No. 09-1751 dated 30.09.1961 as the Republican Institute for Social Affairs – Skopje. It was aligned with Resolution No. 23-858/1 dated 13.04.1998 by the Government of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette No. 19/98) as the Republican Institute for the Advancement of Social Activities, and by Resolution No. 73/2000 dated 31.03.2000 of the Basic Court Skopje 1 – Skopje, it continued to function as the Public Institution – Institute for Social Activities – Skopje, registered under entry no. 1-267-0-0-0.
Platform Goal
The e-learning platform is a tool for expanding your knowledge and skills in the field of social protection. Your knowledge needs to be continuously updated by following new and modern trends in the interest of your ongoing professional development. For these reasons, it is recommended to take one to two trainings on the platform annually, in accordance with the continuous professional development plan prepared with your supervisor.
Registration and Usage Instructions
The trainings on the platform consist of assigned materials that must be completed as a first step before joining the video conference. Every participant who fully completes the assigned materials for the selected training will be listed as a potential video conference participant. Once the list is filled with a sufficient number of participants who have completed the materials, the trainers will schedule a video conference session, and participants will receive a notification/invitation to the email address they used to log into the platform. For this reason, every platform user must be logged in with a functional and active email address, and they should check it regularly. If you are not registered in this way on the platform, you need to create a new profile with a valid email and accurate information. IMPORTANT: When registering, use Cyrillic script to enter your personal information, as the data is pulled from the database for certificate printing.
Conditions for Obtaining a Certificate
The issuance of the certificate after completing the education (all necessary steps including the video conference) is approved by the trainers. Therefore, to obtain a certificate, you must adequately prepare for active participation in the video conference with the materials provided on the platform and ensure suitable conditions for participation. Suitable conditions include: - A proper space and technical equipment for attending the training (stable internet, computer, camera turned on, microphone activated as needed); - Full dedication during the video conference (no other work or private obligations during the session); - Active participation in the discussion during the video conference by sharing your views, opinions, and experiences. Multiple participants may attend the video conference from one computer, but to obtain a certificate, each participant must be authentically logged in with their own profile so that progress is correctly tracked. The above conditions must be met for the trainer to approve the issuance of the certificate.
